Some things for your Internet obzor: there is a new great FTP client for Unix from Yaroslavl, called lftp. Auto-reget, mirror, several connections at one probess, automatically detaches from the tty and enters nohup mode if you exit before you're done... Nice. It's reasonably stable, although it's in its 0.x version. Yeah, it did dump core when I tried to use some pattern-matching feature under BSDI 3.0, but it didn't crash while it was running 6 mirrors in one process for two weeks.
