ICQ vs. AIM - comparison
Advantages of ICQ:
- There's distinction between 'message' and 'chat'
- When chat is finished, ICQ allows you to save it -
AIM just says "oops, forget it"
- No annoying advertising
- Better looking interface
- Less obstrusive - when "you have message" icon is flashing in the system
tray, it's not as distractive as when it's in taskbar
- Logs in more quietly - no unnecessary popup windows
Advantages of AIM:
- Works behind firewall
- The smiley buttons are pretty cool
